<p>As seen here, a calendar year is composed of twelve months of five weeks each with six days, for a total of 360 day years. The ring rotates as days pass and the current day is indicated by the top dial indicator.   The colored bands outside the ring will rotate and shift collectively to indicate the current season and season duration.  Not seen in this image is the time-of-day indicator, which will exist in the center as a sun/moon sphere that rotates vertically to indicate time of day.  The moon hemisphere has an inner horizontally rotating sphere to indicate moon phase.  Also unseen is a barometric pressure meter used to indicate weather change from fair to foul.</p>
<p>As you might guess, weather, seasons, moon phases and even dates will play a large role in Revel Immortal; we are striving to give a real sense of time in the game and making gameplay change heavily  depending on season and weather.</p>
